Spirit

Spirit, a Kenyan bull named by the founders of Elephant Gin Tessa & Robin, made headlines last week.

He was spotted bleeding from his back right leg at a local waterhole a few days ago, but unfortunately it was hard for the Big Life Foundation team to track him in the thick bush.

In collaboration with the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust team, they managed to eventually find Spirit and get the vet to treat him. It turned out to be a spear wound – and thankfully with the joint effort of these great foundations, he is back on his feet!
