2. Poaching for ivory has become one of the biggest sources of funding for terrorist groups, such as Al Shabaab that killed dozens of people at a Shopping Mall in Nairobi in 2013.
3. 7-10 billion US dollars are made each year through wildlife trafficking.
4. Main consumers of ivory:
China 1st biggest market
US 2nd biggest market
Time to reverse these numbers and save the African elephant from extinction!
